Champion of first European Games in Baku Kamal Khan-Magomedov honored in State Duma RF

Moscow, July 9, 2015. The champion of the first European Games in Baku Kamal Khan-Magomedov has been solemnly honored at the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in Moscow. At the initiative of the State Duma deputies, the representatives of the "United Russia" political party from Dagestan Gadzhimet Safaraliev and Murad Gadzhiev, special honorary diplomas of the two State Duma Committee have been awarded to the champion.
Murad Gadzhiev handed over the diploma of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs "For the significant contribution to the development of Russian sports" signed by the Committee Chairman Igor Ananskikh. Besides, Gadzhiev, acting on his own behalf, presented a commemorative gift to the winner.
Having stressed the inter-ethnic significance of the Games and Khan-Magomedov’s victory, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Nationalities Gadzhimet Safaraliev handed over the second diploma. "The Republic of Dagestan and Russia are proud of such representatives of youth as Khan-Magomedov," - the parliamentarian said.
