Dagestan wrestlers win most medals at Ali Aliyev Tournament

Makhachkala, July 6, 2015. Dagestan sportsmen have won 18 medals of different values at the Ali Aliyev International Tournament, held on July 4 - 5 in the Sports Palace in Kaspiysk.
In the unofficial team standings, Dagestan team took the first place. The athletes from Moscow (0-1-0), Krasnoyarsk (0-0-1), North Ossetia (0-0-1), Azerbaijan (1-0-0), Kazakhstan (0-0-2), Kyrgyzstan (0-1-0), Georgia (0-1-2), Poland (1-0-1), Macedonia (0-0-1) also received the Aliyev memorial awards.
About 171 athletes from 14 countries participated in the competitions in eight weight categories: up to 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 86, 97 and 125 kg.
The representatives of Dagestan sports schools won gold in six weight categories of the tournament. The top prize winners are: Ismail Musukaev (57 kg), Ahmed Chakaev (61 kg), Magomedhabib Kadimagomedov (70 kg), Ahmed Gadzhimagomedov (74 kg), Shamil Kudiyamagomedov (up to 86 kg) and Bilal Makhov (up to 125 kg ).
In the other two categories Azerbaijanis Coşkun Asimov (65 kg) and the Pole Radoslaw Baran (97 kg) have won.
Five Dagestanis have become the silver medalists of the international tournament: Magomed Magomedov (61 kg), Alibeggadzhi Emeev (65 kg), Habib Magomedov (70 kg), Dauren Kurugliev (86 kg) and Muradin Kushkhov (125 kg).
