Wrestlers from Dagestan will compete for Olympic licenses at the international tournament in Istanbul. The trainees of Dagestan school of freestyle wrestling, representing seven countries, will compete in the international tournament in Istanbul on May 11-12.

The event is the last opportunity for wrestlers to qualify for the upcoming Paris Olympics. The Kingdom of Bahrain, Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria, Tajikistan, Hungary, Greece, and Uzbekistan will be represented at the event. Wrestlers from these countries will be competing in various weight categories, including 65 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, and 125 kg.
