Dagestan agrofirm "Areshevka" intends to implement an investment project to expand production of raw rice for 264 million rubles, the regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments reports. According to the investment project, the company intends to increase the area of leased land for rice cultivation by 597.9 hectares, including 386 hectares of arable land.

After the implementation of the project, the production of raw rice will be brought up to 5 thousand tons per year. The investment project is designed to be fully implemented till 2027. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to create 35 jobs. The total amount of tax revenues to the budgets of all levels may amount to 20.7 million rubles annually.
