During his working visit to Astrakhan, Jamal Aliyev, Director General of Makhachkala Seaport, oversaw the progress of refurbishment of the motor vessel «Kaspiysk».

“By the end of 2024, we plan to commission this steamship, which will boost the volume of cargo transported through our port, diminish our reliance on other shipping companies and enhance the profitability of our enterprise. The «Kaspiysk» steamship, like our other refurbished vessels, is equipped with the capability to connect reefer containers to its on-board power supply system” - Aliyev stated.
