According to results of the first quarter of 2024, agricultural production in Dagestan remained at the same level as in 2023, while other republics in the North Caucasian Federal District experienced significant growth.

For example, in Stavropol Krai, the volume of agricultural output amounted to RUB 29.8 billion, an increase of 5% compared to the same period last year. In Kabardino-Balkaria, the figure stood at RUB 7.4 billion (a 3.8% increase from January-March 2023).

In contrast, Dagestan's agricultural production remained unchanged at RUB 13.2 billion during the first three months of 2024 compared to the corresponding period in 2023. Overall, the Northern Caucasus generated agricultural products worth 70.3 billion rubles during this period.
