Dagestan watermelons will be available for purchase at counters, marketplaces, and retail outlets in Moscow, according to the metropolitan authorities. The pumpkin season in Moscow starts on August 3 with the opening of approximately 250 sales points for watermelons and melons, which will operate until October 1.
About 150 of these points are located in stationary stores and more than 100 are temporary, organized as a result of auctions in various districts of the city. Most of these sales points will be situated in the southern, southwest and west administrative districts. The number of sales points has increased by 10% compared to last year. Melons and watermelons, popular among Moscow residents, will be sourced from Astrakhan, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Stavropol regions and the Republic of Dagestan.
