Vadim Musayev has won a gold medal at the Russian Interior Ministry Boxing Championship held in Chelyabinsk. The competition featured over 300 uniformed athletes from 39 regions of the country.

Winners were determined across 10 weight categories. Despite sustaining a hand injury in his first bout, Musayev continued his participation and advanced to the final. In the decisive match, he defeated Khikmet Gerayev from the city of Orsk. Other Dagestani boxers also performed successfully at the tournament: Shagabutdin Alburiyev, Magomed Ramazanov and Muslim Musayev won silver medals.
