Dagestan presents handicrafts at "Ladya. Winter Fairy Tale - 2015" exhibition

Makhachkala, December 21, 2015. Dagestan crafts have been presented at the XIX Fair exhibition "Ladya. Winter Fairy Tale - 2015 ", which run on December 16 - 20 in the Central Exhibition Complex" Expocenter "in Moscow.
According to the representative of Dagestan, the shopkeeper of the store network "Silver" Haji Guseinov, the exhibition is traditionally held on the eve of the Christmas holidays.
The craftsmen and entrepreneurs of the Republic are the traditional participants of the exhibition "I would like to thank Dagestan minister for trade, industry and investments Yusuf Umavov and the People's Artist of Russia, the head of the Office of folk art and crafts Gamzat Gazimagomedov, whose paintings are also presented at the exhibition for their great contribution to the event.
Guseinov said that nine businesspersons represented Dagestan at the exhibition. "Untsukul masters presented ornamental carving with metal on wood. The work of Untsukul masters is laborious, demanding of elaboration of special skills, precisely calculated operations and methods.
The residents of Kubachi brought to the fair the world-famous silver items: flatware, jewelry, household items, weapons and souvenirs. Besides, there were exhibited Tabasaran carpets and Balkhar pottery".
According to the businessmen, the exhibition had a saturated business program, including seminars, round tables and meetings with a focus on issues of state support and legal assistance to manufacturers of products and crafts, creation of a system of bulk purchases, copyright protection and professional training.
Noteworthy, the organizers of the event are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Commerce and Industry Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow and the JSC "Expocentre".
